Chrysler 200C, the hybrid idea of a modern car







The 2009 North American International Auto Show, Detroit exposed to the public, the much awaited plug-in hybrid idea of a car, the Chrysler 200C. The sedan comes in rear- wheel drive mode with a combination of gasoline engine with electric motor power. The electric motor power has a range of 400 miles with a 40 mile drive of pure electric driving capacity. It reaches 0-60 mph acceleration within seven seconds approximately.



The concept of Chrysler 200C EV is a forerunner of the company’s expectation of the idea of connect in car computer and communication gadget. This machine has been directly connected to an iPhone, which permits you to program in advance the temperature, locking of the doors, permit you to witness a camera inside the car through remote vision technique (parents can make it useful) and can trace back the car’s position live through GPS, all by the courtesy of the iPhone.



Chrysler 200C can use the extended range powertrain ENVI EV or the fresh Phoenix V6 inside the hood. According to the company sources, the rear wheel drive car can also be produced with new adaptation of front wheel drive in future.
