Nissan GTR boasts of power. The power comes from a VR38DETT engine with a 3799 cc i.e. 3.8L or 231.8 cu in DOHC V6. The powerful forced induction is provided by two parallel IHI turbochargers. The engine output is 480 bhp or 360 kW at 6400 rpm and 434 lb/ft or 588 N/m at 3200 to 5200 rpm.
The independent dynamometer test on Nissan GTR has found that the sports car creates 416 hp or 310 kW to 475hp or 354 kW and 414 lb/ft i.e. 561 N/m at the wheels. The California Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle standards are also met by the engine of Nissan GTR. The vehicle uses welded steel chassis, and the hood, trunk and doors of aluminum. The weight of the car reads to 1730 kg /3800 lb or 1736 kg /3830 lb taking into account the side curtain airbags. Power is provided to all four wheels with the rear mounted 6 speed dual clutch semi-automatic transmission arrangement combined with the ATTESA E-TS system.
