Cadillac CTS-V 2009

This time GM has introduced it’s supercharged “V” series car, Cadillac CTS-V.The Cadillac is the one of the famous car models ever created by GM. The 4 door sports sedan model configured with high performance 6.2liter LSA V-8 engine, which produces 556hp (415kw) and 551 1b-ft (747 N.m) of torque. The Cadillac V series 2009 is based on Corvette ZR1 series, which is from the same manufacturing unit. The company is providing squat chuck shifter and twin clutch facade flywheel, or a paddle shift conventional 6 speed transmission system with automatic and manual functional. 4.06x 3.62inches, LSA version is stroke cum bore engine.

Hot car-Nissan GTR

Nissan GTR boasts of power. The power comes from a VR38DETT engine with a 3799 cc i.e. 3.8L or 231.8 cu in DOHC V6. The powerful forced induction is provided by two parallel IHI turbochargers. The engine output is 480 bhp or 360 kW at 6400 rpm and 434 lb/ft or 588 N/m at 3200 to 5200 rpm.

The independent dynamometer test on Nissan GTR has found that the sports car creates 416 hp or 310 kW to 475hp or 354 kW and 414 lb/ft i.e. 561 N/m at the wheels. The California Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle standards are also met by the engine of Nissan GTR. The vehicle uses welded steel chassis, and the hood, trunk and doors of aluminum. The weight of the car reads to 1730 kg /3800 lb or 1736 kg /3830 lb taking into account the side curtain airbags. Power is provided to all four wheels with the rear mounted 6 speed dual clutch semi-automatic transmission arrangement combined with the ATTESA E-TS system. This helps to handle and making the car stable with further aid from Nissan’s Vehicle Dynamics Control system. The vehicle enjoys a top speed of 193 mph or 311kmph. The production is estimated to be around 2500 units per year for the US market with the price tag of US$ 76,840 to US$ 79,090.

Maserati GranTurismo S

Maserati unveiled the latest S version at the Geneva Motor Show, in 2008. The latest version includes a brand new type 4.7 litre V8 engine capable of producing 440hp or 330 kW of power. The new version comprises of a novel electric-activated gearbox combined with MC-Shift arrangement within a Transaxle design. The regular suspension system is fixed-setting steel dampers with a provision of Skyhook adaptive suspension as an optional choice.

Lotus Elise

Lotus assembly presented a number of new versions in 2008. The Lotus Elise came with two great versions. One of the Elise spared off with 189 hp or 141 kW of power wit 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The Elise SC sported non-intercooled supercharger version with 218 hp or 163 kW of power with 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds, way below the base level at 4.9 seconds with the top speed of 148 mph or 238 kmph with a 1.8l Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine ,6 speed manual gearbox and a spoiler.
The NA Elise will maintain the style of previous models. The Elise SC will appear different sporting a rear spoiler similar to 72-D edition spoilers and new wheels. The weight remains more or less like the Lotus standard of 1,987 lb or 901 kg i.e. only 3 lb or 1.4 kg more.
Three models are available in Europe. Elise S has a 134 bhp i.e. 100 kW / 136 PS, 1.81 Toyota 1ZZ-FE engine, 5 speed manual gearbox, 0-60 mph in 5.8 sec, and top speed of 127 mph / 204 kmph.
The Elise R has a 189 bhp i.e. 141 kW/192 PS, 1.81 Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine, 6 speed manual gearbox, 0-60 mph in 4.9 sec, and top speed of 150 mph or 240kmph. All the hot cars are available in various colors in the market. The cars have antistatic effect on spectators with the brilliant color combination made by Elise.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Ferrari 430 Scuderia saw the light of the day in the hands of the world famous racing maestro Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. The sports car can be termed as the successor to the Challenge Stradale. This super model car has been introduced to fight the competition with hot cars like Porsche RS-models and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera with the extra light weight feature of Ferrari 430 Scuderia. It is in fact extra lighter by 100 kg or 220 lbs but yields better power with 515 PS or 508 hp or 379 kW at 5800 rpm than the standard models of this variety.

The reduced weight to power ratio from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp is a remarkable achievement of this car. Over and above, the super fast semi-automatic transmission, known as “Superfast 2” software enables the car to attain faster 60 millisecond shift-times. The presence of the novel traction control system combines the ‘F1-Trac’ traction and stability control with the ‘E-Diff’ electronic differential quite efficiently.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia attains 0-60 miles per hour or 97 km per hour in 3.1 seconds and 0-100 km per hour or 60 miles per hour in less than 3.6 seconds. It can reach the top speed of 198 miles per hour or 319 km per hour.

There is obvious external difference between the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the F430. The change includes a redesigned front fascia, the changed side skirts, twin exhaust tips, a modified rear diffuser design, carbon fiber wing mirrors, carbon fiber stylish grille, a couple of racing stripes along the middle and the 430 Scuderia emblem.

Lamborghini LP 670-4 SuperVeloce car was unveiled at 2009 Geneva Motor Show

The Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is the most recent and most up-to-date variety in the Murcielago models.
