BMW are now planning to launch the second generation of the 6-Series in the Indian market. The already existing BMW 6-Series Convertible has been a very niche product in India and it is expected that this new BMW 6-Series might look lower and flatter than the previous model.

This new 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible, a luxurious coupe in the D+ segment features a 4799cc, 6 Cylinder, 4 Valve diesel engine which develops a maximum power of about 367 Bhp @ 6300 rpm and a maximum torque of about 490 Nm @ 3400 rpm. This new 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible, with a 6-Speed Manual Gear transmission is said to have a top-speed of around 250 kms.

This new 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible features a Double Joint Tie-Bar spring strut axle Suspension in it. It also provides a Ventilated Brake at the front and a Disk Brake at the rear. This new luxurious coupe, 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible is expected to be launched by this month itself and might have a price tag of around Rs 94 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

One of the world's famous car manufacturers, Audi had launched their new sports car model Audi R8 in the Indian market and this new sedan, which is also a coupe belongs to the much popular D+ segment of the Indian automobile field.

This new sports coupe, Audi R8 comes with a 4.2-liter V-8 Petrol engine along with another 5.2-liter V-10 Petrol engine. Out of these two petrol engines, this 4163cc engine will provide the maximum power of about 420 bhp @ 7800 rpm and a maximum torque of about 429 Nm @ 4500 rpm. It should be noted that a choice between either a 6-speed manual transmission or an R-tronic automated sequential manual transmission is available with this new Audi R8.

This new Audi R8, a 2 seater coupe is said to have a top-speed of about 185 kms and it will take only 4.60 secs to acclerate from 0 to 60 on perfect riding conditions. Mainly, this new Audi R8 is available in 4 variants: R8 4.2 Quattro R-Tronic, R8 5.2 Quattro R-Tronic, R8 4.2 Quattro and R8 5.2 Quattro. This new Audi R8 is to be priced around Rs. 1,27,00,000/- in the Indian roads.

The latest model of the E-class was made to present the public appearance on the auspicious day January 10^th, at the North American International Auto Show 2009. The chassis code was named W212. This new car of sedan type vehicle has been on sales in Europe from March, 2009 and expected to be available in the American market from July, 2009. The unveiling ceremony of the car took place in the night before the auto show, where limited people were invited and a few very high quality pictures were distributed in the manner of the official press release.

The new coupe model boasts of novel innovations and technical additions as extra advantages of the new car. It includes a device to mark speed limits, an adaptive high beam assist and facility for night view assist plus. The rear seat has been presented in a special package like the rear seat advantage in the S-class.

The W212 comes with front engine and a rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

The engine power consists of 2.1 L Diesel 14, 3.0 Diesel V6, 1.8 L turbocharged 14 and others. Transmission is geared up with 5-speed automatic, 7-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual system. The different wheel base is 112.4 in or 2855 mm for Coupe and 113.1 in or 2873 mm for the Sedan model. About the length of the cars, it is 191.0 in or 4851 mm for Coupe and 191.7 in or 4869 mm for Sedan. 71.7 In or 1821 mm for Coupe and 75.9 in or 1928 mm for Sedan in width. Heights of cars are 57.0 in or 1448 mm for Coupe and 57.6 in or 1928 mm for Sedan.

The mid size luxury wagon Acura ZDX introduced to the world at New York Auto show on 2009 (April). Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Ferrari 430 Scuderia saw the light of the day in the hands of the world famous racing maestro Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. The sports car can be termed as the successor to the Challenge Stradale. This super model car has been introduced to fight the competition with hot cars like Porsche RS-models and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera with the extra light weight feature of Ferrari 430 Scuderia. It is in fact extra lighter by 100 kg or 220 lbs but yields better power with 515 PS or 508 hp or 379 kW at 5800 rpm than the standard models of this variety.

The reduced weight to power ratio from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp is a remarkable achievement of this car. Over and above, the super fast semi-automatic transmission, known as “Superfast 2” software enables the car to attain faster 60 millisecond shift-times. The presence of the novel traction control system combines the ‘F1-Trac’ traction and stability control with the ‘E-Diff’ electronic differential quite efficiently.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia attains 0-60 miles per hour or 97 km per hour in 3.1 seconds and 0-100 km per hour or 60 miles per hour in less than 3.6 seconds. It can reach the top speed of 198 miles per hour or 319 km per hour.

There is obvious external difference between the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the F430. The change includes a redesigned front fascia, the changed side skirts, twin exhaust tips, a modified rear diffuser design, carbon fiber wing mirrors, carbon fiber stylish grille, a couple of racing stripes along the middle and the 430 Scuderia emblem.

The second generation Mazda 6

The second generation Mazda was unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. The improved version, a larger one has been specially designed for the US market for 2009 model. The idea of a larger car for the American market has been adopted by Mazda from

Honda. This is to substantiate the brand reputation of a Mazda car in comparison to the European market. It has the roofline of a coupe and looks like sporting type. the engine is a new 2.5 liter 4- cylinder whereas the US version is 3.7 liter V6 like the Mazda CX-9.

The Atenza is done on the Ford CD3 platform and offers three bodies.4-door saloon sedan, 5-door hatchback and a wagon. The car does not have increased weight even the body has been made larger. This feature has helped to maintain the general driving skill.

Variations in engine capacity are 1.8 L, 2.0 L, 2.5 L, - MZR 14 and 3.7 L for MZI V6 and 2.0 L & 2.2 L in MZR-CD.

Transmissions include 5-speed automatic, 6-speed automatic for US versions and 5-speed manual & 6-speed manual.
